Question #1:

Hardest Skateboard Trick that took 4ever to learn?

We've all had 1 trick that took 4ever 2 learn 4example it took me 4ever and i still haven't learn'd a DarkSlide

Question #2:

This is a very wierd situation...?

Ok... me and my friend are really into skating. We're pretty tight too. My friend cares more about his boards than anything else... literally. So about a year ago me and my friend are skating and my other friend was fixing up my board, so I ask to use his... i try to do a trick and as i go to land it, the board slips out from under my feet and under a car which I didn't see coming. The car ran over the skateboard and it was not usable anymore. My friend hasn't been mad at me about it until about 2 weeks ago... now he is demanding money for his wrecked board and his "wrecked computer" which I have never touched. I told him I'm not going to pay him back for it and if that happened to me I would just let it go. He said that either I would cough up the dough for a new Baker skateboard with Thunder trucks and Baker wheels, or he would snap my new board or break my $750 Gibson guitar. And to sum it all up like I said earlier THIS WAS A YEAR AGO. Tell me what i should tell him / or do.
I dont want my parents getting into this and i dont have any freakin money!

Question #3:

Skateboard sizes? What to pick?

How do I pick them? I'll mostly use it for around my neighborhood..I'm not big on tricks o.0

Question #4:

Help me with skateboard sizing? Tall.?

Hey. So, I used to skate when I was 15-16, wasn't that great, but I could ollie and drop in and such. Anyway, I've been riding a longboard around campus for the last year, but lately I've been thinking it might be fun to get a shortboard again, but I'm not sure of what size to get since I'm a bit taller than average. I'm 6'3 and 200 lbs, size 13 mens shoe. I doubt I'll be landing any ridiculous flip tricks any time soon, so I wouldn't mind a wider board, I just don't know anything about board sizing.

Also, I'm not looking to drop a lot of cash since I might go back to the longboard once I get frustrated from sucking at the shortboard. I was looking on CCS and this board is pretty cheap ($60) and the description says something about being designed for beginners. What do you think?

Question #5:

should i get a longboard or a skateboard?

Question #7:

Looking for Longboard/Skateboard for on campus use...? Sector 9 vs Arbor...?

Getting from one end to another of my university campus, is honestly getting to be a b!t<h. And it was my first time on campus last week. Apparently like 30% of the student population rides their longboards on campus. I guess it just makes getting around a lot easier.
I've never had a skateboard or a longboard. I'm more interested in a longboard but I need to know this. I'm not looking to get either to do tricks or anything. I just want one thing to get me from point A to point B. The only reason I'm thinking of a skateboard is because it's a little bit more compact. But a longboard still wouldn't be a problem. Regardless, for what I want it, would a skateboard be just as easy to use as a longboard? (In other words just to ride from one class to another.)

Also, do you know if the longboards on Zumies.com are adequate? Some of those look pretty cool. What would you recommend for a new rider? I'd take my bike to campus but I get driven to campus and it won't fit in the car. So it would be too complicated to get a bike rack and what not.

I like the Arbor longboards but I also like some Sector 9 boards. Can you give me your opinion on those?

Um...No to the skooter. I remember having one when I was maybe 9 or 10. I rather not go back to that. A longboard looks a lot more fun.
*scooter. My bad. lol

Question #9:

How can I learn how to skate?

I use to have a skateboard when I was about 9 and would skate but now I can't skate anymore (I'm 14 now).. How can I learn how to learn to skate? Question #10:

I have a question for skateboarders?

hey guys, me and most of the guys in my town go skateboarding at this one place everyday. My one friend always one ups me with every trick I do. It doesn't bother me or anything, I just hAve a question. There is this 6 foot high gap we skate and about a week ago I landed a perfect frontside flip down it and he followed that up with a perfect frontside big spin (1 upping me). I'm just wondering if a nollie hardflip that's done perfect down the gap would 1up his front bigspin? Thanks for your help.

Question #11:

Should I get a longboard or a skateboard?

I had never even though about gettign a longboard before I saw this couple at the beach riding them. It looked easier than skateboarding, but it could have just been me. I've heard skateboards are better for tricks, because of their smaller size and what not. But I'm not really interested in doing any complicated tricks (if any at all) I really only want one because I live in a really small town and I feel like it's a waste of gas (plus extra pollution) to take my car places a mile from my house, but I think I'd get sick of having to chain up a bike.

Should I get a longboard or a skateboard?
Which is easier to ride?

Should I start BMX, tips please?

I currently skateboard and I see people doing bike tricks at the skate park all the time. I still want to skateboard, but I would like to do BMX too. If someone could give me some tips on starting up with BMX, that would be awesome. Here's what I need to know:

Cost of a bike: New or used, possible to get one for under 300 USD?

Kind of Bike (brand): The brands that my local bike shop have are Trek's BMX, free agent, and Eastern (which at the moment seems like the best option)

Where to get quality parts: Normal bike shop, online, or a BMX shop. The bike shop is the closest, the BMX shop is about half hour away

Anything else I'd need to know
