Questions about Skateboarding?
Here are some questions that I am concerned about:1. Do you need "special" shoes to ride a skateboard? (Airwalk)?
2. Do you know any brand named skateboards that are cheap, yet work well?
3. I only have one skateboard park near me (outside one) what will I do during the winter???
I want to skateboard, I was just wondering these things. Any other extra tips for me would help. :)

IM REALLY A MIEWBIE AT SKATEBOARDING!! WHAT BRAND SHOULD I BUY?
IVE ONLY BEEN ON A SKATEBOARD A FEW TIMES.THE FIRST TIME WAS WHEM I WAS 11 AND I WAS HOOKED. SINCE THEN IVE BEEN TRYING TO CONVINCE MY MOM. IVE TRIED TO USE MY BROTHERS SKATE BOARD BUT ITS TOO BIG.
NOW FOR MY 13TH BORTHDAY, IM FINALLY GETTING A SKATEBOARD.
BUT SINCE IMA COMPLETE NEWBIE, I DONT KNOW IF I SHOULD BUY A GOOD BRAND.

BTW I WANT A COMPLETE BOARD AND I HAVE 50-60 DOLLARS

What are the essentials for skateboarding?
I just went snowboarding recently,I loved it and it came naturally to me.But I live in Florida,where the closest thing I have to snow is the ice from my freezer.I tried skateboarding,and it's just like snowboarding to me.What exactly would I need for skateboarding besides shoes,protective gear and the actual board,(i.e)like things to clean my board and the wheels?Question #4:
Are you always a perfect vegan?
I'm not vegan yet (i've been a vegetarian for 2 years), but i share the same views and when i do become fully vegan, i worry about being perfect. I mean, i don't like to wear animals but i just figured out that my DC running/skateboarding shoes are made out of leather. The worst thing to do is throw them out because of this, but i feel very bad wearing them. Or what if i go to a resuturant and realize there's nothing to eat, so i order a salad but i don't know what's in the dressing.. how do i know? Do i just eat/go along with whatever because i'm doing a lot as it is?Are you always a perfect vegan?

Hey. So, I used to skate when I was 15-16, wasn't that great, but I could ollie and drop in and such. Anyway, I've been riding a longboard around campus for the last year, but lately I've been thinking it might be fun to get a shortboard again, but I'm not sure of what size to get since I'm a bit taller than average. I'm 6'3 and 200 lbs, size 13 mens shoe. I doubt I'll be landing any ridiculous flip tricks any time soon, so I wouldn't mind a wider board, I just don't know anything about board sizing.Also, I'm not looking to drop a lot of cash since I might go back to the longboard once I get frustrated from sucking at the shortboard. I was looking on CCS and this board is pretty cheap ($60) and the description says something about being designed for beginners. What do you think?

Skinny jeans for boys question/Skinny skateboarder look?
OK,so I'm a 13 year old guy and I really like skinny jeans,they really put the one most obvious part of my general look in a good light and that's the fact that I am really skinny.I just want to get filled in with what's on with the skinny jeans.First things first.Many people (exclusively men I think) say skinny jeans look/are gay.That I do not think it's true.Maybe,colored skinny jeans (anything not ranging from black to dark to classic blue to light [light but no white]) can look a little bit gay...So what do you think is gay or not and will I or will I not be trolled IRL by others (especially if not exclusively) guys saying I'm gay?Second.I am not a skater right now,but I would like to get the look for the moment.I don't think I'm a big fan of the super skinny jeans & hi-tops style.I know it's in fashion but it looks a little odd to me.I was thinking about this look: skinny jeans (not super skinny),black or blue,T-shirt (people be talking about "tight" T-shirts? Do they fit in with the image I am describing or are they for the super skinny style?),cap (preferably trucker or less preferable baseball with squares or other "lil' bit more special design")skate shoes (and I mean "fat" not sneakers) (any suggestions please) or low-top sneakers (preferably the first option).So basically: Trucker cap,T-shirt,skinny jeans,skate shoes.BTW Hoodies or Jackets IDK???
Also,what music should I listen to? I like everything.I like Wolfmother and some other softer rock bands.Also,how should I behave?And how should I act around girls?And,the last,but not the least,how should I wear my hair?My school doesn't allow it to be long,any way to make it look good without too much spikes or emo-look?Or should I try to wear it IDK over my ears like a helmet like Justin Bieber does LOL?

Tips on how to Ollie!?
I bought a skateboard at Walmart for $9 because they were having a sale. This will be my third day skateboarding, but I don't get how to Ollie. I don't know when to jump, when to sqat, and then my shoes (skate shoes) won't slide. Any tips? And is there an easier way to just jump in the air? Okay, so I'm thinking about redecorating my room coz I think it's really boring right now.So any fun ideas?
Here are a few things about me to help:
I like skateboarding, I love Green Day, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and the Olympians (book, not movie), eh, I do NOT like Twilight. I'm "boyish", most, if not all, of my clothes are shirts, jeans/shorts and skate shoes/ flip flops. I love greek mythology and I think that's it for now.

Not sure where to go for help! Very unhappy/lost!?
I've had a bf for 5 nearly 6 years now, and I'm very unhappy. He never wants to have sex with me, all he does is play xbox, skateboard...and other things, like he's a child. We've started getting abusive towards one another, but today he kicked me really hard in the leg, and he's never hurt me so much. We have three children and I don't want to hurt them. I also have nowhere to go. I have mounds of debt that is all in my name...and nobody to ask for help. He called me a fat wh**e today, and I'm not sure why...I only weigh 125 lbs. and I try and always look my best. He is constantly accusing me of cheating, even though I would never do that...although sometimes I wish I could as I miss feeling loved, etc.I'm so upset and hurt by all of this, and concerned about my children being hurt. Any suggestions would be really appreciated, as my heart is breaking more each day. Please don't be rude or anything, if you were in my shoes I'm sure you wouldn't want to be kicked down anymore.
